CentOS 4.3/Postfix 2.2.10 alias problems

Postfix does not reference the /etc/aliases or /etc/aliases.db file.
when logwatch sends the email to root, it actually tries to send it
to root vs the alias which is root: allsec@mydomain.com. Here is
postconf -n:

I've ran postalias /etc/aliases and restarted postfix. No luck.
I've read a bunch of problems like mine but the solutions often do
not work. Any help would be great!
