It can well be expensive. A certain U.K ISP, and I am sure this is not country specific, charges a small fortune if you wish to be allowed to send mail with the sender address of your own domain through their mailservers. Static and dynamic, consumer and business grade accounts. What about startup businesses who have an, approximately, eighteen month period where any excess budget expenditure literally can bankrupt them? Some people or businesses just cannot afford it, or justify the excess cost. Period. Matt |
