You are running an IT Dept? ..and insist on running postfix on a MAC?
Even after you are aware of the tweeking it takes to make it work?

Just deal with the fact that postfix on OSX is a bit different, learn
what to do and compile from source.

Or keep the hardware and use a PPC version of FreeBSD.

To recover: restore from a backup.
