Default dumping mail to /dev/null fails because exec rights

Hello,
I'm using postfix 2.1.5 and trying to dump some spam to /dev/null.
It fails with 'cannot append message to destination file : file is
executable.

inded : ll /dev/null rights are crwxrwxrwx (which is normal AFAIK)

I understand postfix doesn't want to append anything to an executable
file, which is of good common sense, but nevertheless...

Anyone has a workaround ?

TIA

bruno
