This mailing list has many excellent examples of good mannered mail users whose examples of quoting, attribution, thread use and such provide a fine example. If this is not enough, then there is other good advice[1] available. If you are looking for answers to the question only in the subject line, there is AWStats[2] which can parse Postfix logs and produce pretty web based reports. If you're looking for reports and summaries, then Jim Seymour's "pflogsumm.pl" is a good choice, as is Peter Bieringer's "pflogstats"[3] (based on pflogsumm.pl). Even a minimal effort on your part would have discovered this.
