------=_NextPart_000_01B6_01C4FE45.A99B43E0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I setup my postfix/sasl and everything is working great. I'm on a = RedHat FC2 machine. When I installed it forced the installation of = sendmail and fetchmail. I force rpm uninstalled sendmail...that seemed = to have deleted the fetchmail server information within /etc/rc.d/init.d = directory. Now I can't start the fetchmail server. I have set aside = today to get this running. Astonishingly enough, I go out searching and = fetchmail info on the net exclusively explains how to use fetchmail to = get mail from a pop3 server but never how to set it up AS a POP3 server. = Can someone help me? Fetchmail POP3 is satisfactory for me....I need = this server up and running. I hate to have to try to setup IMAP from = scratch at this point...maybe later. What I am asking for is: What are the contents of the fetchmail file within the /etc/rc.d/init.d = directory on a REdhat9, FC1, FC2, or FC3 server? Where on the net or can you provide me instructions, on how to setup = fetchmail as a POP3 server? I have fetchmail 6.2.5-2 installed by rpm by fedora core 2. Any quick explaination would be really helpful.
