Hi,
I have a problem that is a side effect of several testing enviroments wit= h spam and virus filtering of email. I am now happy with my current anti-virus and anti-spam configuration, it= 's all working okay, but I have tested so many different implementations alo= ng the way. My question is, how on earth do I delete queued messages from the mail qu= eue that apparently aren't there, but mailq reports them as being there, and also is clogging my log file every minute with "warning: connect to transport scan: Connection refused " I am currently running Fedora Core 2, with Postfix (recompiled from SRPM = to allow MySQL integration) Anti Virus is Clamd ANti Spam is Spamassassin and the thing that holds it all together is amavisd-new (with Berkeley DB turned off ) Now, in my maillog I get the following error every minute... ruby postfix/nqmgr[4527]: warning: connect to transport scan: Connection refused .... But all my mail is being delivered correctly, I also do not currently hav= e a transport called "scan". This transport is left over from MailScanner So, I try to find the message that I assume is trying to connect to the s= can transport. I type mailq, and I see 11 messages that occurred when I was using MailScanner (and when I had a tiny configuration problem - doh !!, which = is now fixed) mailq and webmin report the same messages being in the queue Using Webmin, I go to the postfix mail queue and click on the message to delete them, but I get an error saying that the message no alonger available. (I hope I've done an adequate job of describing my problem) Thanks Paul |
