Hello Everybody,
Currently i have a postfix virtual configuration running out of the box, it provides smtp auth relay support, however one of the smtpd_restrictions i use in main.cf is: permit_sasl_authenticated, reject_unauth_destination <- THIS that means that a mail to a user not found in a local hosted domain will be rejected inmediately. Since the 99% of the connections that use smtp auth are users sending mail throught their own MUAs i like this restriction to not apply when the client is authenticated, i prefer the system to send an email with a mailer-daemon message explained the error, but not reject the email. The normal user 90% of the time never read the error showed by the MUA and he thinks the problem is the mail server, so i prefer to send an email after that. Is there any way to skip this restriction ? Thanks. -- Nestor A. Diaz Lizarazo Tel. +57.1.6005490 Ingeniero de Sistemas y Comp.
