Since they never bother to correct their lists why bother ?

The normal practice is not accept the messages is the first place
(difficult unless you are running 'direct-to-mx' I know), then you don't
:-

a clog up your queues with bounce messages (which would probably go to
forged senders anyway)

b. clog your bandwidth with the message bodies of spam.

I do not reply to directly addressed mail unless it is clearly a matter
that should be dealt with off-list.
