Hi all,
i'm not to familair with postfix but I'm having a strange problem here. I have been using postfix for about a year now with no problem on my server with an xs4all adsl account and it was serving my mail fine. Now I changed from this provider to another one and I thought that it was a simple change of some parameters from my old to my new situation to get it working again....not.. :-( I'm using it postfix in combination with Vsan virusscanner and amavis. When I am sending or receiving mail I find this in the maillog : Oct 3 21:48:27 myhostname postfix/cleanup[2783]: 306FC35422E: message-id=<4160579F.3080603@myhostname.tweakdsl.nl> Oct 3 21:48:27 bmyhostname postfix/qmgr[2276]: 306FC35422E: from=<jerry@myhostname.tweakdsl.nl>, size=612, nrcpt=1 (queue active) Oct 3 21:48:27 myhostname postfix/smtp[2786]: connect to localhost.tweakdsl.nl[217.19.16.130]: Connection refused (port 10024) Oct 3 21:48:27 myhostname postfix/smtp[2786]: 306FC35422E: to=<name@hotmail.com>, relay=none, delay=0, status=deferred (connect to localhost.tweakdsl.nl[217.19.16.130]: Connection refused) the problem is that it tries to deliver the mail to the wrong system, it should deliver to localhost, but in stead it delivers to localhost.tweakdsl.nl (which is an existing host of my ISP) I have been yanking my hair out over this problem for a couple of day's now, but I can't seem to find where this is going wrong. Is there a variable which has e be changed to get it right ? all I did was change the parameters involved from zimmerman-v-w.xs4all.nl to newname.tweakdsl.nl. But I'm missing something i'm sure. Could anyone shed some light on this one for me please ? regards Jerry Zimmerman van Woesik (NL) |
