As I said, this is the behaviour you get. This means that it is
normal and by design. The logged recipient address is the address
to which DELIVERY takes place, and the delivery is indeed made to
virtual_user@my.domain.com even if the original recipient was in
a virtual alias domain.

Use proper quoting.
