Amavis is not a virus scanner like e.g. ClamAV. It's a wrapper program
som integrate MTAs with virus scanning software.

Go with amavisd-new.

I'm sure Google can point you to a few documents. However, the
documentation that comes with Postfix and amavisd-new should be
enough.
