Guys (and ladies):

Is there an RFC for this? I think we have DSN. Like it or not, it's
the only thing we can count to be implemented across multiple MTA
platforms.

DSN is on the Postfix TODO list. Making it safe (as in: not overly
revealing of system internal details) will be an interesting
challenge.
