I'm administrating postfix trough webmin. So I created a new alias in webmin and tehn, just to double-check, I did ssh to the server and runned newaliases. But the problem remained >>for example: >> >>Feb 4 12:44:47 xxxhostnamexxx postfix/smtpd[9525]: E158F9FDEE: reject: >>RCPT from unknown[212.54.131.192]: 554 <postfix-users@postfix.org>: >>Relay access denied; from=<pedro.vieira@filbox.com> >>to=<postfix-users@postfix.org> proto=SMTP helo=<filbox.com> >> >> >> >You'll get that if you send mail to me as well. 212.54.131.192 does not resolve to a domain > > > But 212.54.131.192 it's not a domain. It's the external ip adress of my net conection. It does not point to a domain because it simply doesn't belongs to one. It's just an ip adress that we use to conect to the internet.... Also, if, for instance, i use my server to send an email to another adress.. let's say, pedro.vieira@filbox.com... it works fine for that! And filbox.com it's on a network completly separated from the one my server is in.
