Postfix + MySql - reducing queries?

Hi,

i am running a mysql(4.xx)/postfix(2.0.16)/amvis combination.
The setup is almost identical to the one described
in "FILTER_README - Squeezing out more performance".

i am surprised about that much (mostly redundant ones) sqlquerys
being necessary. Did i missed something? Any optimisation hints?
