Hi,
Is it possible to change the error code sent back to the upstream client / server? Specifcally, we have in place a body-check that bars certain extensions in attachments. These errors return a "550" error followed by our REJECT text. I would prefer a 561 "Media not supported, permanent error". This feels like a more appropriate error in the circumstances and as 550 errors get stripped down to "550 Unknown System Error" quite often, resulting in the mail being requeued and resent this prevents unnecessary usage of bandwidth. Thanks in advance, Nigel __________________________________________________ ___________________ This message has been checked for all known viruses by MessageLabs on behalf of Rentokil Initial plc |
