I just picked it up at the LinuxWorld Expo in NYC and started reading it on
the way home. It looks like an awesome book, but for the newbie mail admin (me), it is a little confusing at times. I've been dying to build a mail server for my home domain for quite some time, and I followed the book to the letter, but I still don't have a working mail server. I have NO mail experience (aside from mail clients), and I'm jumping right in with this. (I originally was going to try my hand at qmail, but it looked way too complicated, so I opted for Postfix...) Is there anyone who would be willing to send me a working main.cf & master.cf so I can compare the settings to see what I'm doing wrong? I'm building it on FreeBSD, but may also try it on Linux to see if there's a difference. My goal is to have Postfix working with Squirrelmail so I can check my mail from offsite via a browser. Sorry for the long post, but I was up until 4 this morning trying to get it working...
