We're running apache 1.3.33 on Solaris 9 with WebSphere and Oblix (a
single signon/access manager facility) plugins/modules. After making a small configuration change to both plugins' configuration files (since undone), apache hangs after an hour. Users' browsers hang waiting for a response from the server but there's nothing interesting the the error log. When I restart with the Oblix module out of httpd.conf, we run fine (but without single signon). Ordinarily I'd say Oblix is clearly the culprit. However, generally when Oblix craps out, I see connection refused messages in apache's error log. Now I see no such messages. Even at LogLevel debug there's very little in there, I see info level messages but no debug level messages at all. No indication that, say, we've exceeded MaxClients (when I count the number of httpd processes we're well below the max). So, I'm thinking, perhaps apache is at fault. Any ideas? Thanks, Josh T |
