redirecting subdomain

Hi gurus!

I'm new to sys admin and I was given the task to set up a SVN server.
1) The URL svn.mydomain.com would redirect the user to a folder in
/home/repository in my computer at home.

2) The user can access the files in the repository from a remote
computer.

So far, I have a repository folder set up and a static IP set up. I
also created the subdomain svn.mydomain.com which needs a redirection
URL. What is this URL? What is the next step from there?
