Apache Mod_SSL Error

I am running Apache 2.0.52 with SSL enabled. However when ever I run
../apachectl sslstart i get the following error message.

Syntax error on line 251
of /usr/local/apache2.0.52/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/local/apache2.0.52/modules/mod_ssl.so into server:
ld.so.1: /ud

Any ideas on what might be the problem. Everything looks fine to me in
httpd.conf. The module does live in that location, it just can't load
for some reason
