I have a vexing problem with Apache on a Sun. We use three special
directories for scripts, all aliased as ScriptAliases. Recently I disabled HTML basic authentication because we started using a company- wide redirecting authentication instead. Now one of the ScriptAliases no longer works! Apache delivers the CGIs as text files with an unrecognized suffix. The log gives no clue to how Apache decides whether to execute target files as CGI files. I've tried dozens of alterations in httpd.conf in vain. How can I investigate this problem? -:- U There's a U--a unicorn! Run right up and rub its horn. Look at all those points you're losing! UMBER HULKS are so confusing. --The Roguelet's ABC -- Col. G.
