Hello,
Problem: Mailserver log indicates heavy attempts at users. The list of users attempted is up to 4 or 500 hundred. The mails are rejected quitely. Here is a copy of a log entry. All of the mail seems to have a different relay so rejecting all is a job. Jul 20 19:28:15 donna sendmail[2872]: i6L2SFSo002872: from=<>, size=6088, class=0, nrcpts=0, proto=ESMTP, daemon=MTA, relay=ns2.fundy.net [24.231.0.2] Any thoughts would help... Thanks RB |

What's the problem? nrcpts=0 (number of recipients) indicates that no mail is actually being sent. If you don't want the log entries then don't run a mail server. -- use hotmail for email replies |
