How can I retrieve the MAC address of a machine from the ip in a different
subnet from mine? I'm almost sure that's no possible to do that, but I know that could be possible (if it's a windows machine) throught netbios. I use a linux box to monitor the lan and I'd like to check some "strange" client doing a match between MAC address and IP becouse I think they use a static ip to spoof my dhcp. Could anyone help me? |
