I just recently put RedHat 9 (Shrike) on my box, which previously had
XP on it. While looking for firewalls, Shorewall was recommended by somebody I know. I downloaded it (and managed to install it successfully, took me awhile tho cuz linux installing is different from windows) and i managed to figure out how to turn it on. When its on, it blocks all internet communication whatsoever. How do I make it allow me to go on the internet and have it block hackers. My current configuration: My box (goes through) Hub (goes through) DSL connection Plz Help!!! Thanks, The DJ V |

After a recent upgrade to version 2.0 I forgot to do this at first and encountered the same problem as you.
