Everybody,
Where could I get daily status informations about security warnings belonging to the kernel (and not to distributions). Are there any releases of kernel patches if security holes being found. Or do the kernel releases found on kernel.org get updated regularly. Anyhow, how long does it take if security holes get fixed and what steps should I perform for critical systems. Thank you very much. A.Fitterling -- Alex Fitterling Staff Member RRZ University of Hamburg (Germany) |

You will probably be notified of security advisories related to your 3rd party apps (such as apache and sendmail) as well as the kernel itself. -john |
