hi,
i got a laptop with ubuntu installed with kernel 2.6.10 i got edimax wireless usb stick with zd1211 chipset i install the driver for it from zd1211.ath.cx and the driver shows in lsmod. i configured it using iwconfig and brought it up using ifconfig wlan0 up. the interface it showing as up but the "Access Point" show 00:00:00:00:00:00 and ofcourse i cannot connect and cannot obtain an ip from my dhcp router.
