Automatically enabling eth1 device

Hello,

I am running Fedora Core 5 on a Desktop PC, x86. I can acquire an
Internet connection by activating my eth1 device, by visiting System ->
Administration -> Network and then clicking the "Activate" button next
when selecting my eth1 device. My question is, how can I set this so
taht it is automatically activated? Each time I restart my machine, I
have to go reactivate this device.

So, does this mean you've fixed the problem you had posted about on Tuesday?

Look in the file /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1, and look at
the "ONBOOT=" variable. Is it set to "yes" ?

Yes, the problem on Tuesday got worked out thanks to this newsgroup.

And no, the setting was set to "no". When I switched it to "yes", that
did the trick.
