nis+ and printers

I have a few linux redhat version 3 nis+ clients that are connecting to
a sun solaris nis+ server. Is there a way that I can use the nis+
printers.org_dir printers database?

Is there any other way for me to configure my printers so that I can
easily administer them for 3+ linux hosts?
