Default test-outspook re. mail send authenticate

my first test Newspost with this M$-outsp00k !
I need info re. mail-send authentication.
Which 'type' does M$-outsp00k use ?
Because that's the type that I need to implement,
to be allowed to mail to 'external' domains.

Thanks,

Why in ghod's name would you ask such an idiotic question in
the "comp.os.linux.networking" newsgroup? Do you even know what Linux is?
Go ask about your bullshit software in a Windoze group.

No, you need to know what auth types the server will accept.
Telnet to the server on port 25, after the welcome banner enter:
EHLO some-name

watch for a line that starts AUTH, it will say what authentication
methods the server supports.
