Hi everyone,
I have two server PC's running Linux-HA which I would like to connect via a serial cable in order to give Heartbeat an extra channel of communication. I will be creating this cable myself, and as such I would like to know what the pin-out configuration details are for this setup. The reason im asking is that every website I have read so far regarding this subject seems to have a different set of details, and if possible I would like to get it right the first time :) Any information anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

there are quite a few different configurations, and I want to make sure I use the right one for the job. Thanks anyway though! Tauno Voipio wrote... > Google for 'null modem cable' with 9 pin connectors (DB-9-S). |
