Default How to emulate a remote device

Hi all,
I am using Red Hat Linux 7.2. I connected my computer to a
windows xp machine through ethernet cross cable connection.I want to
emulate a device in the XP machine in my computer.For example the Tv
Tuner card present on the other machine . Can any one please tell me
how to do this ...

I'm not sure you can do that. You could, however, use vnc to run
programs on one machine and display them on the other.

If you're looking for something to "share" the TV tuner, take a look at
the VideoLAN Client (http://www.videolan.org/) project. If you can be
more specific as to what you really what to do, someone may be able to
give you more specific help.
