Very bizarre vsftp server problem, PCs behind gateway cannot access it

Hi,

I installed Fedora 2 and vsftpd on a server connected directly to Internet
(via comcast). After setting the explorer (ftp client) of Windows PC
connecting Internet behind a gateway/firewall to use passive mode, the
Windows PC can connect all FTP servers but not the new installed Fedora 2
ftp server - however, the PCs directly connected to Internet can access the
Fedora 2 vsFTP server. Any clue?


the IE shows error dialog:

An error occured opening that folder on the FTP Server. Make sure you have
permission to access that folder.

Details:
The server name or address could not be resolved.
