Can anyone point me to a easy to use/understand reference on setting up a Linux server in server/gateway mode. Behind the server are some Windows PC's so something that may talk about this kind os environment would be appreciated. A class of some kind would be nice but time is an issue at the moment. Thanks, Alex --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.703 / Virus Database: 459 - Release Date: 6/10/2004 |

There are a number of specialized Linux distributions which are quite easy to set up and configure and which are specifically for use as a firewall. Perhaps one of those could streamline the process? The one I use is here: http://www.coyotelinux.com -- -Rich Steiner >>>---> http://www.visi.com/~rsteiner >>>---> Eden Prairie, MN OS/2 + eCS + Linux + Win95 + DOS + PC/GEOS + Executor = PC Hobbyist Heaven!
