You won't. You should upgrade to WPA if you want this sort of
functionality.

Default Driver for Symbol Technology WIFI adapters

Hi everibody, this is my first post.

I have a problem with Symbol Technology WiFi adapters, PCCards and
Compact Flash adapters:
Symbol Access Points have a proprietary security feature called
"KeyGuard", which is used to dinamically change the WEP keys.

The problem is that I couldn't find any Linux driver to enable the
Keyguard feature on the clien side.

Can anybody help me?

Which are the RIDs to be changed ?

Thank you!

Thanx for the answer.

I know that WPA is a much more strong security option for WiFi.

My problem is that I already have an infrastructure made with Symbol
APs with the KeyGuard feature enabled and so i must have Keyguard even
on the client side.

The RIDs are special records in Adapter firmware used by the driver to
configure and enable all the available features.
Anyone has an up-to-date list of those RIDs for Symbol adapters?
