Default Help: Gui for rp-ppoe won't run

Hi,
I have a Mandrake 10 connected to the Internet via rp-ppoe (ADSL).
I've installed rp-pppoe-gui too (from Mandrake's CDs) yet:
1. Issueing the command "rp-pppoe-gui" does nothing.
2. Using (as root) "find / -name rp-ppoe-gu*" did NOT find anything
3. Could not find any link in the menu either.

Note: rp-pppoe itself works fine in terminal mode.

Please advise.

TIA

On my older SuSE system the gui for rp-pppoe is called 'tkpppoe'.
However, that was on an older K6-2/400, and tkpppoe with its speed
indication or graphing used considerable cpu time (20-30%?). I now use
kernel pppoe on a newer SuSE system (300 MHz Celeron), which does not seem
to use any cpu time.

In KDE system/configuration/configure your computer should put you
somewhere near it.
