Has anyone put Linux on a Contivity box? I took the cover off of a
Contivity 100 and see that it has a PCI bus and 2 IDE channels (the first ide channel has an 8 meg compactflash card in it), Socket 7 CPU, one 168 pin sdram dimm slot, and a nice 3.5" bracket just behind the power supply for a hard drive. The only thing I could see getting stuck on would be the 8 port Broadcom BCM-5228 ethernet card - does anyone have drivers for this beast? Andy |

It may work. You could always try another NIC in it.
