Hi all,
I just upgraded my kernel from 2.2 to 2.4 and on boot "Device eth0 not found". I tried to use modprobe 3c59x but failed. System printed that it may be problem with the insmod configuration's IRQ. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time. |

Also, what lines do you have in /etc/modules.conf (/etc/modutils/* on Debian) that mention "alias eth0". -- Cameron Kerr cameron.kerr@paradise.net.nz : http://nzgeeks.org/cameron/ Empowered by Perl! |

I used apt-get install kernel. to install the new kernel. my modules.conf
doesn't have any entries for eth0.
