I have a DLink DWL-520+ (rev.D) wifi card. I tried to compile and install
the acx100 module (TI chipset) for this device. When I try to load the module, i keep getting a error msg saying that acx100 not found.. delaying initialization. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks in advance... Kaushik |

If you are doing just a simple "insmod acx100_pci.o", it won't work, coz the make DOES NOT install the module to the /lib/modules/<kernel name> directory. You have to manually specify the full path of the module (at least, that's how we did it!). I eventually put it into a script, which does the whole lot for us (note: the page is debian based, so you may have to modify things on another distro). http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~tmccoy/...l#HomeWireless This card and module actually work really well! Did you ever get it at that speed? Or was your access point limited to only 11Mbit? -- Mauriat (www.mjmwired.net) ---------------------------- Remove 'NOSPAM' to email me. |
