Can see dirs but not files on LAN

Hi,

I have a Linux box connected to a LAN hub with other XP boxes.

Using smb I can see all the win boxes from the Linux box and see each of
their directories however when I change to see the files in the dirs, I
get a blank with no files etc.

All the win boxes are fine. It is just the Linux box.

What am I doing wrong!
