I have just installed animail a spam stopper program like Procmail. It
configured Kmail to use sendmail instead of my ISP's account. Sendmail refused to send mail because the FQDN I have invented for myself isn't registered as a Web address. I can see nothing in Procmail or Animail which allows me to set my full From: address to get through my ISP - only the domain part (after the @). Am I misunderstanding something? Of course I changed Kmail back to the original setting, but I haven't learned anything. Doug. -- A hero is no braver than the ordinary (wo)man; (s)he is just brave five minutes longer. |
