Default ISP monitoring

Hi
I guess almost ISP is monitoring all the packet which come-in or
go-out from our computer.
If they don't do it, how can they catch the people who send virus
???

They may be scanning e-mail only, not everything. They'd have antivirus
programs running on the mail server, which will check every message.
