Default Configuring IPtables for FTP

Hi All,

I am a newbee to Linux and I am trying to set up a linux
firewall at home. Here is my set up

--------- --------
WAN | Linux | LAN | SOL |
------------------------| FW |-------------- | SVR |
| --------- ---------
|
|
----------
| Client |
| |
-----------

The Linux FW has two interfaces one external WAN and one internal LAN.
The internal LAN is connected to a solaris server.

I would like to FTP over to the solaris server through the Linux
Firewall. I am failing in configuring the IPtables. I tried using
passive FTP configuration. The initial login to the FTP server is
successful but when I try uploading any datafile it says it cannot
contact the FTPserver .

Could somebody please help or give me some direction. Thanks in
advance.

Ajit
