Default mars_nwe problem - please help

Hello

I am seeking (again) for some useful help from you people out there to
solve some problems about setting up a mar_nme emulator in my linux server.

Basically, I have this Netware server 4.12 running smoothly in my office
for quite a long time. Concerning with it's aging problem, I decided to
migrate and replace this Novell server by a linux server installed with
a mars_nwe novell emulator.

For cable connection, I just use a ethernet cable (UTP) to connect my
linux box with the ethernet hub which has been using for connecting all
the stations with the Novell server.

Here comes the problem part:

I can see the mars_nwe server from a WIN98 or DOS station (when the
Novell server also running simultaneousely). But when I try to logon to
this mars_nwe from a WIN98 station , I see this error message from the
login script:

LOGIN-4.21.15-923: An unexpected error has occured:14(89fc)

Without able to understand exactly what this error means, I can only hit
the close button and ignore this every time.

Now, when I switch off the Novell server and let the mars_nwe running
alone, I cannot see the mars_nwe server and hence not able to logon from
a WIN98 or DOS station in my office.

I hope some body out there can give me some help or advice to tackle
this problem. Is it because I need to set up an IPX router in order to
make every thing work properly.

Please help.
