If everyone did what I do then the popups would eventually go away....

For every site that sends me too many popups I send an email to the company
(not the webmaster) telling them that I tried to use their site (maybe to
buy) but was inundated with popups, and I refuse to patronize a site that
uses popups. So I (bought) went somewhere else....

Yeah, it takes a little while but I feel my message is getting through. If
you just block it the advertisers and web site owners never know your
preferance as a consumer.

Of course, for some reason, I do not go to many sites that use popups.
Maybe one or two daily...
