SiS900 on Gericom Notebook won't work

Hi!!!

I got a SiS900 Network Card in a Gericom Notebook.
And I just can't make it work.

I use SuSE Linux 8.2. When trying to Install it with YaST 2, the Computer
freezes and I have to restart.
But I was able to get the card running with ifconfig.
My Problem now is:
I can only Ping myself, but no network computers, neither can they ping me.
ping always prints 'network is unreachable'.
the eth0 config file seems good...

Has anybody an idea what I could do?
