Why would I only get 500-800 bits per second on my wireless adapter in
an old Compaq E500 machine equiped with a Cisco PCMCIA network adapter. This is using Mandriva 2008.1. With 2008.0 I was getting well into the megabits per second network rates. I'm stumped.
