I've got a new hdd supposed to be arriving tomorrow (3 days late, thanks
eBuyer ... not) and I want to use it to replace the smaller one currently in my desktop. I'd like to do a clean new install of debian stable on to it but with the same packages installed as on my curent one. Thus I need to somehow get a list of currently installed packages, check it and edit out any I know I don't need, and use it to specify packages to install on the new drive. I'd appreciate some pointers to the tools and docs I should be looking at to do this. |
