Default Error on startup

When I startup Ubuntu it begins to load then says:

/dev/hda2 not found! Dropping to a shell!

Then:

/bin/sh: cannot access tty; job control turned off

And sits there giving me a command prompt (not the bash one)

Please help, nobody seems to know what this is.

/dev/hda2 was not found. Boot from the Ubuntu live CD and post the
output of "sudo fdisk -l /dev/hda". Try to mount /dev/hda2 from the
live CD.
