Hi there. I'm running KDE 3.something on Mandrake 10.1. When I
put an audio CD into my drive, then KDE brings up KsCD to play the disc. I'd prefer that XmCD be run instead. I looked through the desktop configuration and couldn't find anywhere to change this. Where should I be looking? Thanks.... -- PLEASE post a SUMMARY of the answer(s) to your question(s)! Show Windows & Gates to the exit door. But, with Red Hat Enterprise version 3 and KDE 3.1 autorun is the answer. I can do this ~/.kde/Autostart/Autorun.desktop contains: [Desktop Entry] Name=Autorun Comment=Autorun - the CD-ROM mounter for the lazy user Exec=/usr/bin/autorun -l --interval=1000 --cdplayer=/usr/bin/xmcd Icon=cdrom_unmount.png Type=Application Categories=Application;Utility;X-Red-Hat-Base; Encoding=UTF-8 autorun isn't installed on my Mandrake systems, yet KDE still starts kscd, and I still want to change that to xmcd. Any ideas folks? Thanks.... -- PLEASE post a SUMMARY of the answer(s) to your question(s)! Show Windows & Gates to the exit door.
