No one has a full feed. Not even God (that's an historical reference).

A trivial matter of running a script.

As I observed, a local server is most beneficial when using intermittent
dialup. I don't intend to quit, though. One of its advantages is
transparent support for multiple newsreaders. Another ls local groups.

I've never used leafnode, but if packaged properly it should be trivial to
install and administer and should be able to add groups on user request.
